Your Role

‍

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations define and implement robust data governance frameworks. You’ll work on both the conceptual and technical aspects of governance, making sure that data is properly structured, accessible, and secure while aligning with business objectives.

Your expertise will be instrumental in translating governance principles into practical, scalable solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and improving data quality across our clients' ecosystems. This hybrid role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on implementation.

Your Responsibilities

‍

• Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and quality controls in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support the technical implementation of governance solutions.
• Enhance data cataloging, classification, and documentation for better transparency and usability.
• Bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring governance aligns with real-world needs.

Your Expertise

‍

• Experience in data governance, data management, or data architecture.
• Strong conceptual and hands-on expertise in governance frameworks and tools.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, with the ability to explain governance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with data integration, (meta)data management, and data quality solutions is a plus.
